AURGH! I keep trying to create an avatar that DA will accept... but no luck! I googled some instructions, followed them like a good girl... but to no avail. This is frustrating.

I manipulated, saved, shaved, cropped my little heart out, but I still can't get it right. Grrrr...

I see all this really creative avatars (I'd love to know how some of them are created)... but I can't even get a stinkin' little ol' jpeg to work.


Sigh.

I have a variety of ways, with things like the "inductorian" I just decreased the preservation of the photos colors, then afterward I added shadow, highlights, a graduated tint, and then I added glow...I believe I did that photo with...Picasa 2. I admit its a little lacking in most respects, but it will do for some effects. If you would like any information on other photos or techniques just drop me a line.
